Qualification Services Overview
Qualification Services: In order to register a deal with JustEnergy, a service of qualifying services are available. Some service also act as prerequisites for other serivces
- Check Service Location : this is a service used to validate the opportunity's service address.
- Texas: the service uses the ERCOT Site Catalog along with checks for any switch holds. When call this service, it will valid an address against the catalog and check if the location has any switch holds by other reps/providers. A switch hold will mean that the location cannot be transfered to Justenergy. In a typical flow, this will be the first qualification service.
- Check Bad Debt: the bad debt check is specific to JustEnergy and its properties. This check will query if the potential customer has previous been with JustEnergy and its properties and has left us previously with any bad debt. This information will be used when qualifying a post-paid deal as a prerequisite for "Check Enrollment Requirements". Prepaid products will not require this as payment is taken upfront.
- Clean Meter Waiver: This qualifying is for Texas only. This check will assess if the potential deal and its service location is eligible for a "clean meter" waiver in the event a deposit is required.
- Check Enrollment Requirements: This check purpose to is to determine if a deal is eligible for our products. it has two different types that can be called:
- Post-paid - For post paid products the eligibility check will do several things:
- register the opportunity with JustEnergy and return an ID that will be used to finish registering the deal(EnrollmentID)
- Run a credit check with our provider(Equifax - AES). Disclosures must be read during any online or in person credit applications
- Decision matrix and scoring: Once we have the credit check, the system will assess the information that will result in a pass/fail or deposit required with a deposit amount. If a deposit amount is required than either
- a payment must be collected to proceed with registering the deal OR
- a waiver can be used with no deposit collected if the waiver has been qualified (like clean meter)
